Initial thoughts

okay. rar’s Mario Movie review. uhm. honestly this isn’t even a review as much as it is. I need the thoughts inside me to no longer be thoughts inside me but instead words on a page, so, here I am, and here you are, if you decided you wanted to read me being Extremely Autistic about this movie

I’m going to start this by saying: I didn’t really like it

And then follow that up by saying: I didn’t like it due to intensely personal reasons and emotions I feel about the characterization of the main cast, which are opinions and reasons that matter a lot to Me Personally

And: I see no real reason why anyone who isn’t me would hate it as much as I did

(unless, as a PSA, if you really dislike Illumination’s brand of humor, you should probably pass. Like, there’s no fart jokes and no thinly veiled sex jokes, but otherwise the tone and pacing of the humor is about the same as it is in other Illumination movies, so if you really really REALLY hate Illumination’s humor and were thinking of making an exception because Mario... don’t bother.)
