i wanted to screenshot this specific moment for anna lore related reasons and uh. walked out with 140 screenshots. whoops

61 was probably still too many images but theres a reason this is a whole ass sequence of 61 images i promise (link to imgur album here)

(i then gave four more images - they're included above - and said here's four i would parse it down to if i had to but realistically it needs about ten-- i ended up doing it in fifteen)

the lore is in the imgur post but the short version is tfw you were up close and personal when bahamut hatched out of his moon and now a whole 5 years later (WHICH IS REALLY BARELY A YEAR FOR YOU) papalymo just put shinryu in another moon egg and you're. Goin Thru It.

for the record the fact that anna is 1.0 wol is why i have brainworms so bad about her LKSJDFJSF i just think..... the very specific coping with being up close and personal with bahamut and then Surviving is so. Is So.

like i've even fallen out of love with the "getting teleported 5 years into thefuture fucked up your echo and you have memories of Every Single Version Of You That Has Ever Existed, Ever" wrt anna bc just her with 1.0 wol lore is plenty.

(quoting a tweet made by aer saying "Tfw You Had To Do It Alone" wrt 1.0 wol) rory brings up good point because not only is anna 1.0 wol but she's also a very specific brand of 1.0 wol in that she 1v1'd everything. there was no concept of getting adventurer friends for a trial for her. just her, alone,

1.0 raubahn voice would that i had a hundred flames like you, but one flame alone is not enough to push back this darkness

and now almond is here and they get to share the wol role and both of them get to learn about working with other people and trusting in other people.... it's simply so!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO IT'S PROBABLY IMPORTANT TO MENTION ANOTHER REASON ANNA IS GOING THRU IT TRAUMA WISE IS SHE ALSO LOST HER RIGHT ARM WHILE STARING UP AT BAHAMUT HATCHING SO LIKE. SHE IS NOT HAVING ANYWHERE NEAR A FUN TIME RIGHT NOW

BUT ANYWAY i just realized oh huh seeing this sure is trauma city for her huh!!!!! i didnt have time when i first finished this story quest so i had to come back later to get plenty of screenshots before i progressed the plot.... i'd intended to just get one or two dramatic ones but then i was like damn i want her staring at it fuckored and then i was like wait there's more emotes

and so!

also btw the fact that Louisoix died getting rid of bahamut and Papalymo died locking up Shinryu (WHOM SHE WILL HAVE TO. FIGHT LATER.) isn't helping Anna's ptsd. augh,,
